Our Mission

Since 1927, our mission has been to provide an uncompromising commitment to excellent orthodontics in a caring and fun environment. OAG is a family-oriented practice that treats children, teens, and adults with intro-oral appliances, traditional braces and clear aligners. We are thrilled to get to know patients and their families. We strive for lasting relationships, often treating patients’ children and even grandchildren.

Meet Dr. Karen S. Rogers

Approach

Karen S. Rogers, DMD, MS, is a Greenville, South Carolina native. What sets her apart is her exceptional commitment to her patients while meticulously planning every single treatment personally. Patients love Dr. Karen Rogers for being detail-oriented, a perfectionist, friendly, and very down-to-earth. She takes the time to listen to your smile concerns and goals to provide the best treatment possible for every patient.

Dr. Rogers is married and has two children. She is very involved in their school and is a Christ Church Episcopal Church member. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

Credentials

Dr. Rogers has been practicing orthodontics in Greenville since 1994. She received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina and earned her degree in Dentistry. She then completed her residency in orthodontics and earned a master’s degree at the University of Michigan.

She has served as the President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Greenville County Dental Society. She has also served as a member of the Craniofacial Anomalies and Cleft Palate Team in Greenville for the past 14 years.

Meet Dr. Brian Hamby

Approach

Our patients love Dr. Brian Hamby for his fun and compassionate approach. He provides patients and parents with information about existing orthodontic problems and choices to help with the decision about the best possible treatment. He also underwent a hospital-based program that gave him extensive exposure to treating patients with special needs, including physical and mental disabilities and craniofacial abnormalities.

Dr. Hamby is very excited to be practicing in his hometown. He lives near Cleveland Park with his wife, Laura, and their children, Seaton, Austin, Nielsen, and Camille. He attends Downtown Presbyterian Church, loves to ride his bike, run, play with his children, and travel in his free time.

Credentials

Dr. Brian Hamby attended Wake Forest University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and went on to practice general dentistry for two years as he pursued a residency in orthodontics. In July 2005, he completed his residency at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Hamby actively participates in many continuing education courses to remain current in his orthodontic education.
